The moorings are situated within walking distance of the town,  on 

the tidal part of the River Brede known locally as "Rock Channel,"it 

is one  and three quarter miles from the open sea.  Rye is a drying               

harbour with softmud and our moorings will happily accommodate

all types of keel configurations and stern gear at low tide whilst       

taking the ground.                                                                                                    

We offer various types of moorings for vessels under 50 feet L O A.    

Also we have hard standing and boatyard facilities including an        

on site crane to lift vessels up to 18 tonnes at short notice. Our site    

benefits from easy access for large boat transporters to launch or      

recover vessels                                                                                             

Rye has an active boating community with social events                    

throughout the year.
